Master Sculptor and Painter

John began painting large art works at 9 years old. A few years later, he began sculpting. When he won 1st in Junior High School of a full-sized bust of Abraham Lincoln, created from a five-dollar bill, he realized his special artistic talent.

John’s first professional art works were for made for Sunrise Sets. This led him to working on special art projects for Disney and Warner Bros. where he began specializing in creating animals and reliefs. Some of his sculptures include sculpted four floats for Walt Disney’s Electric Light Parade, a 6-story tall, 21-inch deep relief sculpture of the New York City skyline, a Bat Plane and much more

Nightmare before Christmas, sculpture of the Wicked Tree at Disneyland. All props, sculptures and painting for the Goofy store in Anaheim, California. The under Belly and sides of a 30 foot Dragon for Universal Studios. Wooden Sculptures 3 dimensional of a Pirate and a boat, for the Pirates of the Caribbean located in the Disneyland Park.

Soon after working for Sunrise Sets/California Theaming he began to accept commissions for sculpting animals and birds, painting murals and relief carvings in wood. John’s strives to perfect his art, skill and method with each piece of art he creates.
